Wellness Programs
To help you achieve your goals for a healthier lifestyle, Johnson Memorial Health offers nutritional counseling by a registered dietitian.
Our dietitian provides individualized education and support for:
- Weight management – Surgical and nonsurgical Gastrointestinal disorders
- Blood pressure and cholesterol management
- Food allergies
- Cancer and/or unintentional weight loss
- Conditions associated with hormone imbalance, such as PCOS and hypothyroidism
- Kidney disease
Note
A physician’s referral is required. Cost varies, depending upon insurance. Self-pay options are available.

The Anti-Coagulation Clinic assists and educates patients who are on Coumadin (Wafarin) therapy. Patients must be referred by their physician in order to be seen at the clinic.

Johnson Memorial Health is proud to partner with Beats for Bristol to offer two peer support groups focusing on perinatal loss and pregnancy after perinatal loss.
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation and Cardiac Wellness Program is for those who have experienced CABG, MI, stent placement, angina or valve replacement. We provide education materials on diet, cholesterol management, weight management and exercise, as well as monitored exercise sessions.
Participation in this program requires a physician’s order and can be covered by Medicare and most insurances.

Our respiratory care team individually designs educational and exercise material that will improve the strength and endurance of patients with pulmonary conditions. A program typically meets twice a week for eight weeks. Patients must have a physician’s order in order to participate.
