Glioma

Overview

There are many types of glioma. Some are cancerous and others are not. The growth of cells forms a tumor that can press on the brain or spinal cord and cause symptoms.

Symptoms

Different types of glioma cause different symptoms. Some include headaches, seizures and vomiting. Others include vision problems and weakness or numbness in the arms or legs.

Treatments

Treatments include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Another uses medicines targeted to fight cancer.
