Follicular lymphoma

Description

A slow-growing type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Overview

Follicular lymphoma is a slow-growing form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a cancer of the body's disease-fighting system, called the lymphatic system.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include swollen lymph nodes in the armpits, groin or neck. Other symptoms may be fever, belly or chest pain, and feeling very tired.

Treatments

Treatment may not be needed for patients without symptoms. Treatments may include radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
