Fibrosis
Overview
Fibrosis is the formation of fibrous tissue. Different types of fibrosis exist. One example is cystic fibrosis, which damages the lungs and digestive system. Pulmonary fibrosis damages lung tissue, making it hard to breathe.
Treatments
Treatments may include medications, physical therapy, and surgery.
